I am Van Random, founder of the Dale County Armed Militia, a budding organization which aims to protect the land we love.
I hope that this will become but a single chapter of a much greater Southern American Renaissance, which would be where others
would wake up and realize the need for a militia--which is truly the last line of defense our country has. When all else fails,
our country will rely on The People to protect her.
As we begin to recruit new members and expand, there will
be more information available here (ie; meeting times, target practice, publications, etc.). Keep looking here for new news.

Who is a militiaman? Let's start with the definition.
mi·li·tia
- An army composed of ordinary citizens rather than professional soldiers.
- A military force that is not part of a regular army and is subject to call for service in an emergency.
- The whole body of physically fit civilians eligible by law for military service.
That means that a militiaman is any citizen of this country who is able to bear arms and protect the homeland if necessary.
In that sense, you and I are all members of the militia already! We are the last line of defense our country has. When all
else fails, it is the Militia who bears the responsibility of protecting what we all work for.
A militia is not a terrorist
organization, nor a group of armed thugs, nor any of the stimatic things people sometimes associate with the word. A militia
is simply a group of civilian men and women who pick up arms for the service of their country.
So in joining a militia,
you can be PROUD of yourself and what you are doing for your country. Your right to do this is protected by the Constitution
of the United Stated of America. You almost can't get any better protection than that---and that's all the more reason
to get out there and take a stand to make sure it stays that way!
